Description

Provide safe, evidence-based midwifery care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period, while supporting newborn wellbeing. The role requires close multidisciplinary collaboration, strong clinical documentation and a consistent focus on patient safety and family experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care in line with clinical standards and applicable legislation.
  • Support the assessment and care of mothers and newborns while recognising and escalating clinical risks.
  • Promote a positive, respectful experience for women and families throughout the maternity journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, outcomes and care plans.
  • Support learners and colleagues through supervision, mentoring and participation in a learning culture.

Requirements

  • Education: Relevant Bachelor's degree; valid BLS and NRP
  • Experience: At least 2 years in own country
  • Professional approach: Strong communication, patient focus, teamwork, accurate documentation and commitment to applicable UAE healthcare standards.
