Registered Nurse NICU Services

FakeehCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for NICU Services in Dubai to provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care to newborn patients. The role requires careful assessment, continuous monitoring, safe medication and treatment practices, accurate documentation and close collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals. The nurse also supports families and contributes to safe neonatal care practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess neonatal patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, clinical status and treatment response.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide specialized nursing care for newborns requiring close observation and supportive treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Support respiratory care, including ventilator and other respiratory-support requirements within competence.
• Apply appropriate neonatal hemodynamic monitoring and recognize changes requiring escalation.
• Assist physicians and other professionals during procedures and diagnostic activities.
• Respond to neonatal emergencies and follow established resuscitation and escalation procedures.
• Maintain strict infection-control standards and ensure equipment and care areas remain safe and clean.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately in clinical records.
• Educate and reassure parents and families while respecting individual needs and cultural considerations.
• Support junior staff and students and contribute to quality and practice improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; eligible graduates may enter the relevant residency pathway where applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid nursing licence from the country of origin and applicable regional authority, such as DHA.
• BLS, ACLS and other relevant life-support courses as applicable.
• Knowledge of neonatal hemodynamic monitoring, neonatal resuscitation and ventilator or respiratory support.
• Strong communication, teamwork, resilience and patient-focused skills.
