Registered Nurse – Mental Health

FakeehCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Mental Health services in Dubai. The position provides evidence-based nursing care while supporting patients’ physical and emotional needs in a clinical setting. The nurse is expected to work closely with physicians and other professionals, maintain accurate records, promote patient safety and deliver respectful, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including physical observations, vital signs and changes in symptoms or behaviour.
• Develop, implement and update individualized nursing care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and monitor for side effects or adverse responses.
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during clinical procedures and diagnostic activities.
• Provide patient and family education about health conditions, treatment plans and preventive measures.
• Recognize clinical or behavioural changes and communicate important findings promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and follow established response and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering observations, interventions and patient responses.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and patient advocacy while respecting individual preferences and rights.
• Follow infection-control requirements and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing professional education and evidence-based practice development.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of clinical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid professional nursing licence from the country of origin and applicable regional authority, such as DHA.
• BLS, ACLS and other relevant life-support or clinical training as applicable.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage work pressure while maintaining compassionate, patient-focused care.
