Waiter/ess – Jumeriah Emirates Towers

Jumeirah Emirates Towers is recruiting a Waiter/ess to deliver attentive restaurant service in one of Dubai’s established luxury business hotels. The position supports guests from welcome and seating through menu guidance, order delivery and payment. Applicants should be organised, professionally presented and comfortable coordinating with kitchen, bar and service colleagues in a busy outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests, explain menu options and daily specials, and respond to questions about ingredients or dietary needs.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver orders in a timely manner and maintain clean, correctly arranged tables and service stations.
• Use the MICROS point-of-sale system to process orders, bills and payments with care.
• Observe responsible beverage-service requirements, including identification checks where applicable under local rules.
• Monitor the assigned section, respond to guest concerns and request supervisory support when necessary.
• Coordinate with colleagues to manage service flow and maintain the hotel’s expected guest-service and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Hospitality is desirable.
• Previous waiter or restaurant-service experience, particularly in a hotel or upscale restaurant, is preferred.
• Good communication and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are important.
• Candidates should be willing to work shifts and follow food-safety and service procedures.
