Executive Chef

Emirates Flight Catering is hiring a Executive Chef in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role supports the organisation's high-volume aviation catering, hospitality, technology, engineering, finance, HR or operational environment, depending on the function. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver dependable results, follow established standards and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The position combines day-to-day execution with attention to quality, safety, service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support culinary production so food is prepared consistently to approved recipes, specifications and operational schedules.
• Monitor quality, portion size, presentation, storage and handling and correct deviations promptly.
• Plan work, allocate people and resources and maintain efficient production flow during changing operational demands.
• Coach culinary employees on recipes, processes, equipment, food safety and quality expectations.
• Control food usage, waste and production costs while maintaining required product and guest standards.
• Coordinate with senior chefs, service teams and support functions to resolve issues and deliver reliable output.

Requirements

• Education: Culinary/Hospitality qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Experience: Senior culinary leadership experience
• Core skills: Culinary leadership, menu development, food safety, production planning, quality, cost control
• Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are expected, together with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Candidates should be comfortable following company policies, quality procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
