Intern

Emirates Flight Catering is hiring a Intern in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role supports the organisation's high-volume aviation catering, hospitality, technology, engineering, finance, HR or operational environment, depending on the function. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver dependable results, follow established standards and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The position combines day-to-day execution with attention to quality, safety, service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support verification of critical food-safety controls and prerequisite programmes under established hazard-control plans.
• Collect food samples for microbiological analysis according to approved sampling procedures.
• Assist with food-safety data gathering and monitoring so trends and recurring issues can be identified.
• Maintain monitoring and verification registers and support accurate food-safety administration.
• Conduct personal-hygiene verification for food handlers and report deviations to the responsible team.
• Learn and support quality, food-safety and compliance activities within a high-volume catering environment.

Requirements

• Education: Relevant undergraduate or graduate study; field dependent
• Experience: Entry-level / internship
• Core skills: Food safety, data collection, documentation, hygiene verification, quality control
• Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are expected, together with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Candidates should be comfortable following company policies, quality procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
