Associate Program Coordinator-(Medical ICU Unit Manager)

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an Associate Program Coordinator for the Medical ICU Unit Manager function in Dhahran. The position provides senior clinical, operational and people leadership for nursing and clinical services, with overall responsibility for staffing, quality, performance, education and resource management. The successful candidate will guide managers and staff, support evidence-based practice and ensure that patient-care services meet organizational, professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and leadership for the assigned nursing and clinical services department and maintain 24-hour operational accountability.
• Develop department goals, objectives, policies and evidence-based patient-care practices in a cost-effective environment.
• Manage staffing plans, workforce requirements, education, training and professional development.
• Monitor KPIs, patient satisfaction, staff engagement, quality improvement and risk-management initiatives.
• Lead managers and direct reports through delegation, coaching, performance reviews and professional development.
• Support recruitment, talent planning and succession development in collaboration with senior nursing leadership.
• Manage manpower budgets, financial planning, operational metrics, resource allocation and cost-reduction or revenue-enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with CBAHI, JCI, IHI and other applicable professional and regulatory standards.
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary committees and communicate decisions and priorities across the organization.
• Promote a positive learning environment and develop programs that support progression from novice to expert practice.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required, together with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or the relevant specialty.
• Nine years of clinical nursing experience after registration, including three years of clinical management experience.
• Expert clinical knowledge in the assigned specialty.
• Current professional registered-nurse license and advanced specialty training/certification.
• Fluent spoken and written English; spoken Arabic is desirable.
• Demonstrated clinical management, leadership and collaboration skills in a multinational healthcare environment.
