Butler – Front Office – Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf

Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is seeking a Butler to provide thoughtful, personalised service to guests staying in its private Arabian-style residences. The role focuses on a warm arrival, room orientation, luggage support, anticipating preferences and coordinating requests discreetly. The successful candidate will be attentive to detail and able to build trusted relationships with international guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving guests, escort them to their accommodation and explain room features and relevant resort services clearly.
• Assist with luggage, arrival formalities and departure arrangements while ensuring belongings and guest information are handled carefully.
• Record guest preferences and anticipate reasonable needs, providing personalised assistance throughout the stay.
• Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, dining, transportation and concierge requests with the relevant hotel teams.
• Provide information about resort amenities, dining options and experiences, making recommendations suited to each guest’s interests.
• Respond to requests promptly, follow up until they are completed and communicate any delay or issue professionally.
• Maintain service areas and guest-facing spaces to the required presentation, hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous guest-service experience in a luxury hotel, resort or similar hospitality setting is preferred; one to two years is useful.
• Secondary education is expected; a hospitality diploma or relevant service training is an advantage.
• Good spoken English is important, and additional languages can support service to international guests.
• Applicants should understand guest privacy, personal presentation, service etiquette and the importance of discretion.
