Waiter/Waitress – Sand & Koal

The Waiter/Waitress at Sand & Koal supports the Food & Beverage team at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi by delivering prompt, courteous food and beverage service. The role covers table preparation, guest interaction, order taking, menu support, billing follow-up, clearing and service communication while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare stations and tables according to established restaurant standards.
• Welcome guests and communicate with them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist the Captain with menu presentation, recommendations and accurate order taking.
• Serve food and beverage items promptly and according to service standards.
• Follow billing and checking procedures and communicate relevant information to the Captain.
• Assist with clearing tables and maintaining clean, organized service stations.
• Coordinate the return of dirty linen and support smooth restaurant operations.
• Remain present during service periods and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Keep the Captain informed of guest feedback, comments and complaints.
• Attend briefings, communication meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain clean uniform, grooming and personal hygiene in accordance with hotel standards.

Candidate Profile

• Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Previous luxury-hotel experience is preferred; resort experience is an advantage.
• Passion for guest service and an engaging personality.
• Strong teamwork, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy restaurant service periods.
