Reservations Agent

The Reservations Agent supports the Revenue function at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi by handling hotel bookings and maximizing the conversion of guest requests into reservations. The role requires accuracy in reservation records, rate and inventory controls, VIP-arrival checks, guest satisfaction, upselling and clear communication in English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily reservation accuracy and rate compliance by segment and source.
• Monitor rate availability and system close-outs when required.
• Support guest satisfaction and ensure reservations follow Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental service standards.
• Follow internal credit policies and communicate relevant reservation information accurately.
• Follow up on lost business and provide useful information to department leaders.
• Spot-check previous-day reservations and review VIP arrivals.
• Support quality-assurance calls and service standards.
• Follow the internal reservations upselling program to identify suitable revenue opportunities.
• Maintain attention to detail when recording guest preferences, dates, rates and booking information.
• Work collaboratively with the reservations and front-office teams during busy periods.
• Remain composed and professional when handling multiple booking requests.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the luxury hotel industry in the same role.
• Guest-focused and dependable approach.
• Strong teamwork and ability to perform under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication in both English and Arabic.
