Description
The Manager – Laundry at Jumeirah Emirates Towers oversees laundry operations and ensures linen, uniforms and guest garments are processed efficiently and to luxury-hospitality standards. The role combines team leadership, quality control, resource management and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily laundry operations and workflow
- plan staffing and allocate tasks
- monitor washing, drying, pressing and finishing standards
- control linen and uniform inventories
- inspect output quality
- coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
- manage equipment usage and maintenance follow-up
- monitor chemical and supply consumption
- minimize losses and reprocessing
- enforce health, safety and hygiene requirements
- coach colleagues
- and support cost and productivity improvements.
Requirements
- Candidates should have relevant laundry or housekeeping-management experience in hospitality, strong organizational and leadership skills and an understanding of linen control, quality assurance and operational efficiency. Hospitality training or a related qualification is desirable. The ability to manage a busy operation and maintain consistent standards is essential.
