Description
Park Hyatt is seeking a Assistant Housekeeping Manager for its housekeeping / rooms division / hospitality operation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time position suits a professional who can deliver reliable results, communicate effectively and maintain high standards in a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires ownership of daily priorities, teamwork and a consistent focus on guest experience, quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
- Coordinate room assignments, cleaning priorities and colleague deployment based on occupancy, arrivals, departures and VIP movements.
- Inspect rooms, corridors, pantries, public areas and service spaces to ensure required cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Monitor room status and ensure priority and VIP rooms are inspected and released on schedule.
- Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders, Room Attendants and other housekeeping colleagues.
- Conduct briefings covering occupancy, room priorities, guest preferences and departmental updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant housekeeping experience, including 1–2 years in supervisory or assistant managerial capacity
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality / related field
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Professional conduct and ability to work flexible shifts or peak periods when required.
