Description
Park Hyatt is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie - Italian Cuisine for its culinary / italian cuisine / hospitality operation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time position suits a professional who can deliver reliable results, communicate effectively and maintain high standards in a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires ownership of daily priorities, teamwork and a consistent focus on guest experience, quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation and presentation of Italian dishes under the direction of senior culinary colleagues.
- Complete mise en place and ensure ingredients, equipment and work areas are ready for service.
- Prepare pasta, sauces, antipasti, vegetables, meat, seafood and other Italian components as assigned.
- Follow approved recipes and maintain consistency in flavour, texture, temperature, portioning and presentation.
- Check ingredient quality and communicate shortages, defects or freshness concerns to the Chef de Partie.
- Maintain correct food storage, labeling, dating and stock rotation procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant kitchen experience; Italian cuisine experience preferred
- Relevant hospitality / culinary qualification preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Professional conduct and ability to work flexible shifts or peak periods when required.
