Chef de Cuisine – Italian Cuisine

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is hiring for the position of Chef de Cuisine – Italian Cuisine in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time opportunity for a senior-level professional to contribute to operational excellence, service quality and the organization’s business objectives. The role requires dependable execution, professional communication, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other departments. Candidates should be comfortable working within established procedures while adapting to changing operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Italian cuisine according to approved recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Complete mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared, labelled, stored and available for service.
• Monitor taste, freshness, portioning, presentation and service timing to maintain consistency.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to keep production and service flowing efficiently.
• Apply food-safety, HACCP, allergen-control, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Monitor stock rotation, storage conditions, waste and product availability within the assigned section.
• Support training, coaching and teamwork appropriate to the level of the culinary position.
• Report equipment, quality or supply issues and assist with corrective action and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Previous Chef de Cuisine/Italian kitchen leadership experience in a quality hotel; strong Italian cuisine expertise; ability to manage kitchen operations, budgets, quality and hygiene.
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills appropriate to the position.
• Ability to follow company policies, quality requirements, safety procedures and professional standards.
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail, with a practical approach to daily priorities.
• Willingness to collaborate across functions and contribute to continuous improvement.
