Description
Park Hyatt is seeking a Commis Chef - Italian Cuisine for its culinary / italian cuisine / hospitality operation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time position suits a professional who can deliver reliable results, communicate effectively and maintain high standards in a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires ownership of daily priorities, teamwork and a consistent focus on guest experience, quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation and presentation of Italian dishes while maintaining quality, freshness and consistency.
- Complete mise en place and prepare ingredients according to recipes, production requirements and service needs.
- Assist with pasta, sauces, antipasti, vegetables, meat, seafood and other Italian preparations as assigned.
- Maintain accurate portioning and follow established preparation and presentation standards.
- Check ingredient freshness, storage conditions and stock rotation and report concerns to senior chefs.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant kitchen experience; Italian cuisine exposure preferred
- Relevant hospitality / culinary qualification preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Professional conduct and ability to work flexible shifts or peak periods when required.
