Waiter/Waitress

The Waiter/Waitress provides attentive and personalised dining service at Park Hyatt Dubai. The role welcomes guests, explains menu choices and ensures food and beverages are served accurately and on time. It requires good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and service etiquette, along with close coordination with kitchen, bar and Food & Beverage colleagues. The successful candidate helps create a comfortable dining experience while maintaining luxury hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide courteous service from arrival through departure.
• Present menus and recommend food, beverages, daily specials and signature items based on guest preferences.
• Take orders accurately in the point-of-sale system and communicate special requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve dishes and beverages in the correct sequence, checking timing, presentation and tableware.
• Maintain knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, allergens and available beverage options.
• Monitor assigned tables, anticipate guest needs, maintain service stations and respond professionally to feedback.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service or Hotel Management is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant service experience is preferred, ideally in a five-star hotel, luxury resort or upscale restaurant; enthusiastic fresh candidates may also be considered.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu terminology, allergens and sequence of service.
• Strong communication, professional grooming and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
