Description
Park Hyatt is seeking a Engineering Manager for its engineering / maintenance / hotel operations operation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time position suits a professional who can deliver reliable results, communicate effectively and maintain high standards in a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires ownership of daily priorities, teamwork and a consistent focus on guest experience, quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Assistant Director of Engineering in planning and coordinating property-wide engineering and maintenance activities.
- Lead and monitor technicians and tradespersons to maintain workmanship, productivity, attendance and safety standards.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, equipment and facilities.
- Assist with engineering projects, renovations, capital works and technical improvements while managing operational priorities.
- Monitor maintenance schedules, work orders, equipment performance and unresolved technical issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and external service providers while ensuring work is completed safely and to required specifications.
Requirements
- Relevant engineering and hotel maintenance management experience
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality / related field
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Professional conduct and ability to work flexible shifts or peak periods when required.
