Director of Catering

Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking a Director of Catering to lead catering and events business development. This senior role is responsible for commercial growth, client relationships and the successful planning and execution of luxury weddings, corporate functions and social events. The director will work closely with culinary, banquet and operations teams to deliver polished events while achieving revenue and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead catering and events sales activity in line with revenue, profitability and market-share objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, wedding planners and social-event organizers.
• Develop sales strategies, negotiate event business and identify opportunities to increase catering and banquet revenue.
• Oversee planning and delivery of weddings, corporate functions and other high-standard events.
• Coordinate with culinary, banquet and operations teams to ensure event requirements are delivered accurately.
• Review market trends, track business opportunities and coach the catering sales team toward agreed targets.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in catering, events or banquet sales within a luxury hotel or resort.
• A track record of meeting revenue objectives and developing profitable client relationships.
• An established network within the UAE luxury-events, corporate and wedding markets.
• Strong negotiation, client-management and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial awareness, market-analysis skills and fluency in English and Arabic.
