Senior Waiter/ess – Food and Beverage – Jumeirah Al Naseem

Jumeirah Al Naseem is seeking a Senior Waiter/ess to support high-quality food-and-beverage service and help create memorable dining experiences. The position involves guiding guests through menu options, coordinating orders, processing payments and supporting smooth service within an assigned section. The successful candidate will be attentive to detail and set a positive example for colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, assist with seating and explain menu choices, including ingredients, preparation methods and dietary considerations.
• Present daily specials and relevant promotions so guests understand the available dining options.
• Take and confirm orders accurately, coordinating timing and special requirements with culinary colleagues.
• Serve food using the correct techniques and presentation standards, maintaining table readiness throughout the meal.
• Generate bills through the MICROS system, present them professionally and process guest payments accurately.
• Ask for guest feedback, address concerns promptly and involve a supervisor when a matter needs additional attention.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and help maintain hygiene, cleanliness and service standards across the outlet.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Hospitality is expected or preferred.
• Basic food-hygiene training is important; one to two years of experience is preferred, ideally with an international hotel group.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud is beneficial.
• Applicants should be comfortable working with guests and colleagues from different cultural backgrounds.
