Accounting Generalist

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking an Accounting Generalist to support daily finance operations across shared services, general cashiering, accounts payable and income-related activities. The role helps keep financial records accurate, supports consistent accounting practices, and contributes to reliable reporting for hotel operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with transaction details, established procedures and colleagues across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review assigned accounting tasks connected with shared services, general cashiering, accounts payable and income accounting.
• Check supporting documents and transaction details for accuracy, completeness and compliance with required procedures.
• Assist operational colleagues with standard accounting practices and explain documentation requirements when needed.
• Maintain organized records and contribute to accurate reconciliations, reporting and the timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support other accounting office activities, including accounts receivable or related duties, when operational needs require.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Approximately two to five years of finance-department experience in a five-star hotel or resort is preferred.
• A college degree is preferred, particularly in accounting, finance or a closely related discipline.
• Experience with a shared-services accounting model, including Capgemini or a comparable service arrangement, is an advantage.
• A practical understanding of accounting documentation, reconciliations and transaction controls is important.
• Candidates should be organized, accurate and comfortable managing recurring deadlines in a team environment.
