Senior Process Engineer (Oil and Gas, EPC, Midstream)

NOV is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer in Dubai to lead process engineering activities on oil and gas EPC projects, particularly within the midstream sector. The role requires strong process-design capability, familiarity with engineering software and practical site experience. The engineer will develop and review process deliverables, support package design, coordinate with other disciplines and ensure work is completed safely, within scope, budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for feasibility studies, conceptual design and capital projects.
• Develop and review Heat & Material Balances, PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and related process documents.
• Use process simulation and engineering software such as HYSYS, FlareNet and ProMax.
• Support package design for gas dehydration, gas sweetening, crude oil treatment and produced-water systems.
• Review process design against project specifications, applicable standards and safe-design principles.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and other disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to junior process engineers and support knowledge development.
• Ensure deliverables are completed within contractual budgets and schedules.
• Participate in technical reviews, client discussions and site activities when required.
• Support continuous improvement of HSE, quality and process-engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant oil and gas process-engineering experience, preferably in midstream EPC projects.
• Strong process-design and simulation capability.
• Knowledge of API, Shell DEP, Saudi Aramco and ADNOC standards is advantageous.
• Experience with gas treatment, oil treatment and produced-water packages.
• Strong English communication, organization, planning and teamwork skills.
• Site experience is required or strongly preferred.
