Cost Analyst

Emirates Flight Catering is hiring a Cost Analyst in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role supports the organisation's high-volume aviation catering, hospitality, technology, engineering, finance, HR or operational environment, depending on the function. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver dependable results, follow established standards and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The position combines day-to-day execution with attention to quality, safety, service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse production and operational cost data and identify trends, variances and opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Maintain cost standards, costing databases and relevant ERP information to support accurate financial analysis.
• Review changes in products, menus, raw materials and production methods and assess their cost impact.
• Prepare variance reports, benchmarks and recommendations for management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, profitability analysis, sourcing decisions and evaluation of insourcing or outsourcing opportunities.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and work with Finance, Production and Supply Chain teams to improve cost visibility.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent
• Experience: Relevant costing/finance experience
• Core skills: Cost analysis, ERP costing, variance analysis, budgeting, benchmarking, Excel, landed cost
• Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are expected, together with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Candidates should be comfortable following company policies, quality procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
