Site Engineer – Infrastructure

Supervise daily infrastructure construction activities and coordinate site resources so work is completed in line with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety controls and construction schedules. The role includes roads, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, stormwater and wet and dry utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and check work against approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate roadworks, excavation, backfilling, grading, drainage, sewerage and utility installation.
• Review shop drawings, IFC drawings and method statements before starting activities.
• Work with surveyors to check setting-out, levels, coordinates and alignment.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, equipment, consultants and QA/QC inspections.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests and site records, and escalate risks or delays.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Three to five years of experience in infrastructure construction projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply or utility works.
• Experience with site execution, subcontractors, consultant coordination and quality inspections.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and relevant authority requirements is preferred.
