Land Surveyor – Infrastructure

Carry out surveying, setting-out and measurement activities for infrastructure construction. The role provides accurate site positions, levels and coordinates for roads, utilities, drainage and other civil works, supporting construction teams in building to approved layouts and dimensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and establish setting-out points, levels and coordinates.
• Check line, grade, alignment and dimensions for roadworks, drainage and utility installations.
• Use survey instruments and approved drawings to support site execution and verification.
• Coordinate survey requirements with site engineers, project managers and subcontractors.
• Maintain survey records, measurement data and as-built information as required.
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions and design information and report them promptly.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant surveying qualification and practical infrastructure-site experience.
• Hands-on experience with construction or contracting companies is preferred.
• Understanding of roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage and civil infrastructure works.
• Ability to interpret drawings, coordinate data and maintain accurate survey records.
