Aircraft Mechanic – Cabin – Light

Qatar Airways is recruiting an Aircraft Mechanic for Cabin Light Maintenance in Doha. The role supports operational requirements by completing assigned cabin maintenance tasks in accordance with company and customer procedures and approved aircraft maintenance data. It focuses on timely defect rectification, correct use of tools and consistent workmanship.

All work must remain within approved instructions and assigned authority. Accurate records, tool control, safe work practices and early escalation of defects help protect airworthiness, component traceability and workshop quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cabin maintenance and defect rectification assigned by the supervisor.
• Inspect relevant cabin items and assess serviceability within assigned training and authorisation.
• Use hand tools, gauges and test equipment to adjust or check components when required.
• Follow approved aircraft data, company processes and customer requirements.
• Record completed tasks and report defects, uncertainty or work that requires licensed-engineer attention.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work area and support the team in achieving maintenance targets.

Requirements

• A relevant technical or aircraft-maintenance qualification and practical maintenance experience are expected.
• Candidates should understand basic aircraft-maintenance instructions, tool selection and quality checks.
• Experience in cabin maintenance or a similar technical work area is beneficial.
• A careful approach to safety, documentation and teamwork is important.
