Qatar Airways is recruiting a Senior Project Specialist for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business development in Doha. The role coordinates project execution, reporting, financial tracking and risk management to deliver planned outcomes and support long-term growth. It works with a broad range of internal teams and external stakeholders, including IT, finance, procurement, contracts and CAMO.
The role depends on accurate information, clear accountability and timely follow-through. Practical communication, suitable records, stakeholder coordination and a continuous-improvement mindset help deliver dependable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project planning and execution, monitor progress and organise review meetings.
- Manage budgets, expenses and project financial reporting to maintain transparency.
- Prepare business cases and investment justifications that align with strategic priorities.
- Maintain project roadmaps and coordinate implementation across MRO functions and partner departments.
- Act as a central point of contact for stakeholder engagement, updates and decisions.
- Track risks, SLAs, contracts, vendor activities and payment milestones, then coordinate mitigation actions.
Requirements
- High-school, vocational qualification or diploma with at least 7 years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years.
- Project-management experience is required.
- Proficiency with project tools such as Microsoft Project or Clarizen is beneficial.
- Candidates should have experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders and be confident managing budgets and risks.
