The Night Duty Manager position is designed for a team member who can contribute reliably to the hotel’s daily operation. The Night Duty Manager oversees hotel operations during the night shift, helping ensure guest needs are addressed and essential departments remain coordinated. The role acts as a point of contact for service concerns, supports front-office routines and responds calmly to incidents while maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor overnight hotel activity and coordinate with front office, housekeeping, security and other on-duty teams.
- Assist guests with requests, complaints and service recovery, escalating complex matters when appropriate.
- Support arrivals, departures, room-related queries and other front-office needs during the night.
- Respond to emergencies or operational incidents according to established procedures and notify relevant managers.
- Review shift reports, guest requests, outstanding tasks and handover notes for completeness.
- Help ensure hotel procedures, safety practices and service standards are consistently followed.
- Communicate important overnight developments to the incoming team and management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in hotel front-office or operational service is relevant.
- Sound judgement, composure and decision-making are important for night-time responsibility.
- Candidates should communicate effectively and coordinate across departments.
- Flexibility for a night-shift schedule and accurate report handling are expected.
