Waiter/Waitress – Episodes

The Waiter/Waitress at Episodes supports a multi-experienced Food & Beverage venue at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi. The role is centered on accurate and timely food and beverage service, guest communication, table setup, order taking, billing procedures, clearing and coordination with the Captain and restaurant management.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up service stations and tables according to the outlet’s standards.
• Greet guests warmly and communicate clearly throughout the dining experience.
• Assist the Captain with menu presentation, recommendations and order taking.
• Serve food and beverage items promptly and professionally.
• Follow billing and checking procedures and support accurate service documentation.
• Assist with clearing tables and maintaining clean service areas.
• Coordinate linen return and support efficient restaurant operations.
• Remain present during service hours and respond to guest needs.
• Communicate guest comments and complaints to the Captain promptly.
• Attend meetings, briefings and required training sessions.
• Maintain neat uniform, grooming and personal hygiene in line with luxury-hotel standards.

Candidate Profile

• Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred; resort experience is a plus.
• Passion for guest service and an engaging personality.
• Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain service quality in a busy hospitality environment.
