Waiter, Gastronomy – Atlantis The Royal

The Waiter at Gastronomy provides hands-on support to deliver refined food and beverage service in a luxury restaurant. The position relies on strong product knowledge, attention to the detail of each order and a consistent focus on guest comfort. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, recognize when service needs attention and help maintain the restaurant’s quality standards throughout the guest journey. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve guests with courtesy, ensuring orders are recorded correctly and delivered in a timely manner.
• Maintain current knowledge of the full menu, beverages and promotional activities so guests receive accurate recommendations.
• Check the consistency and presentation of food and drinks, raising concerns when an item does not meet expected standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and floor colleagues to support smooth service and meet special requests where possible.
• Keep tables and service stations organized, follow hygiene procedures and help prepare the restaurant for each service period.
• Listen carefully to guest feedback, respond appropriately and refer major complaints or operational issues to management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of two years in a similar role with a proven fine-dining background is expected.
• A strong interest in hospitality and high-quality guest service is essential.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and the ability to manage several tasks at once are required.
• Candidates should feel confident engaging with guests from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Attention to detail and consistency in menu knowledge and service delivery are important.
