MCV Technical Superintendent

Job Overview

DP World is hiring an MCV Technical Superintendent in Dubai to provide technical oversight for MCV vessel operations and maintenance. The position focuses on vessel reliability, planned maintenance, repairs, compliance, technical projects and coordination with crews and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical maintenance and operational readiness of assigned MCV vessels.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, repairs, surveys and docking activities.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, workshops, shipyards and suppliers.
• Monitor technical performance, defects, budgets and spare-parts requirements.
• Ensure statutory, class and company technical requirements are maintained.
• Support incident investigation and corrective-action programs.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and management reports.

Requirements

• Relevant marine engineering qualification and vessel technical experience.
• Experience with vessel maintenance and technical management.
• Strong knowledge of marine safety and regulatory requirements.
• Good analytical, planning and stakeholder-management skills.
