Project Manager- Offshore Services

Manage complex offshore service projects from planning through execution and final handover, with the position based in Dubai and requiring significant international travel. Assignments may involve extended periods at shipyards or project locations during major execution phases. The role is accountable for schedule, cost, quality, compliance and reporting performance and requires close coordination with technical, operational, commercial and external stakeholders. Success depends on disciplined project controls and the ability to manage multiple priorities in demanding maritime environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring and handover in line with approved scope and contractual requirements.
• Develop detailed schedules, budgets, execution plans, milestones and critical paths.
• Control project costs against approved baselines and manage contingencies, variations and commercial exposures.
• Coordinate shipyards, contractors, technical teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders during execution.
• Track progress, identify schedule risks and implement recovery actions when performance deviates.
• Maintain project documentation, decisions, changes, risks and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure maritime HSSEQ requirements and operational standards are applied throughout project activities.
• Prepare accurate progress, variation, financial and management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance, inspections, commissioning and final project close-out activities.
• Travel internationally at short notice and remain on assignment for extended periods when project conditions require.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, maritime studies or a related technical field.
• Substantial project-management experience in offshore, marine, shipyard, engineering or heavy-industry environments.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, risk, quality, HSSEQ and project reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness and ability to undertake extensive international travel and extended project assignments.
