Senior Project Engineer

Provide project-delivery capability for WCS by managing schedules, tenders, live project coordination, costs, risks, variations and client engagement. This is a one-year contract role with responsibility for multiple projects and indirect coordination of contractors and site personnel. The Senior Project Engineer will work across stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time and within commercial targets while maintaining clear reporting and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery from planning through completion in line with approved scope and requirements.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources and delivery milestones.
• Maintain detailed project plans using MS Project and keep schedules updated.
• Monitor project risks, variations, deviations and corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports and maintain clear project records.
• Coordinate contractors, site teams, suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, safety and commercial performance.
• Support tender management, cost planning and project-development activities.
• Ensure site work follows applicable safety standards, policies and project procedures.
• Build strong client relationships and represent the business professionally throughout delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or similar engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of project-management experience in heavy industries.
• Marine or port operations experience is preferred; crane exposure is desirable.
• Strong planning, cost-control, risk-management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and multiple projects within defined authority and governance limits.
