BIM Lead

Lead BIM and CAD delivery for mission-critical data-centre design projects. The position combines mechanical engineering knowledge with team leadership, model coordination, quality control and delivery planning from concept design through detailed design and issue-for-construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary BIM/CAD teams and review their technical deliverables.
• Oversee mechanical modelling and CAD production from concept to detailed and IFC design stages.
• Coordinate HVAC, cooling and related MEP infrastructure models and design interfaces.
• Manage model coordination, clash detection, design reviews and resolution of interface issues.
• Set BIM/CAD standards, work processes, quality checks and delivery schedules.
• Work with consultants, design managers, engineers and project stakeholders across international projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of BIM/CAD and engineering-design experience.
• Recent direct data-centre design experience, preferably for hyperscale or large facilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing BIM/CAD teams and mechanical HVAC/cooling design.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
