Job Overview

University Hospital Sharjah is recruiting for the Hospital Doctor/Specialist Intensive & Critical Care position in Sharjah, UAE. The role contributes to safe, high-quality hospital services and requires the successful candidate to work in accordance with applicable clinical, operational, regulatory and accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist medical assessment and management for critically ill hospital patients.
• Admit and review patients while maintaining complete clinical documentation.
• Order appropriate investigations and treatments and evaluate results.
• Conduct ward and critical-care rounds and coordinate specialist consultations.
• Participate in procedures within approved clinical privileges.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and support safe transitions of care.
• Maintain high standards of medical records, confidentiality and patient safety.
• Participate in quality improvement, accreditation activities and on-call coverage.

Job Requirements

• Medical degree and specialist qualification appropriate to intensive and critical care practice.
• Relevant post-certification clinical experience in an acute-care accredited institution.
• UAE Ministry of Health licensing/evaluation as applicable.
• Strong critical-care decision-making and multidisciplinary communication.
• BLS/ACLS and relevant critical-care credentials are advantageous.
