Flying Instructor – Emirates Flight Training Academy

The Flying Instructor role supports trainee pilots at Emirates Flight Training Academy. Instructors deliver flight and ground instruction, assess progress and maintain high standards of safety, discipline and training quality while helping students develop the competencies required for professional flying.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver flight instruction and briefings in accordance with approved syllabi and procedures.
• Assess student performance and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records, progress reports and required documentation.
• Monitor weather, aircraft condition and training risks before each sortie.
• Coordinate with other instructors and training staff to support consistent student progression.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Appropriate pilot licence, instructor privileges and medical status for the assigned training aircraft.
• Relevant flying experience and current regulatory qualifications.
• Ability to meet the academy’s training, standardisation and checking requirements.
• Any additional aircraft, language and experience requirements specified for the vacancy.
