Role Expectations
Accuracy is important because missing documents or incorrect coverage details can delay care and affect billing. The officer should explain steps without promising unconfirmed insurance coverage, keep patients informed and refer complex questions to the right team. Organised handovers help clinical staff focus on care.
The employee should maintain professional standards, follow workplace and information-handling procedures, and cooperate with colleagues to meet service priorities. Tasks should be completed within the approved scope of the position, with questions or exceptions referred to the responsible manager. Dependable attendance, clear communication and a willingness to learn support consistent performance.
