Description
Hyatt Place Dubai/Jumeirah is looking for an HR & Learning Officer to support human resources activities and colleague development across the hotel cluster. The role contributes to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and the planning of learning initiatives. A well-organized and people-focused officer will help maintain accurate records, coordinate with department heads and ensure that colleagues receive clear information and useful training.
Key Responsibilities
- Support routine HR activities, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and employee-engagement initiatives.
- Arrange learning sessions and help deliver training aligned with hotel standards and operational requirements.
- Assist with talent-development and succession-planning activities by coordinating information and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, training records and reports, handling colleague information confidentially.
- Work with department heads to identify development needs and coordinate suitable learning support.
- Help manage learning platforms and monitor completion of required training.
- Promote a respectful workplace culture and support consistent application of company policies and relevant UAE employment requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in HR administration, hospitality human resources or learning coordination is advantageous.
- Strong organization, communication and follow-up skills, with care for confidential information.
- Confidence using office applications and maintaining accurate digital records.
Qualifications and Skills
A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, hospitality management or a related field is preferred. Candidates should show an interest in colleague development and be able to work constructively with employees and managers at different levels.
