Host/ess – Jou Jou Brasserie

Jou Jou Brasserie at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking a Host or Hostess to welcome diners and coordinate the opening stages of their restaurant experience. This role is central to guest flow, reservation management and communication between the entrance and service team. The successful candidate helps create a relaxed, professional atmosphere while supporting the restaurant’s presentation and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving guests and coordinate with servers so guests are seated smoothly and receive attentive service.
• Manage the host stand and review reservations to help determine table sections and seating arrangements.
• Check tables and dining-room sections before opening, addressing presentation or cleanliness issues with the team.
• Develop a working knowledge of menus, ingredients and restaurant information to answer guest enquiries.
• Communicate table status, guest requests and expected wait times clearly to the restaurant team.
• Use the reservation book and relevant restaurant systems carefully and maintain accurate guest-flow information.

Requirements and Qualifications

• One to two years of food-and-beverage outlet experience is preferred, with luxury hotel experience considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, confident approach when meeting guests.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and restaurant systems.
• Organized working habits and the ability to handle changing priorities during busy service periods.
• A professional approach to grooming, teamwork and guest confidentiality.
