Job Overview

DP World is looking for a Technical Superintendent in Dubai to manage technical performance, maintenance and reliability of assigned vessels. The role supports safe and efficient vessel operations through planned maintenance, repairs, inspections, docking and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vessel technical condition and maintenance performance.
• Plan and supervise repairs, maintenance, docking and survey activities.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, shipyards, contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor budgets, spare parts, technical procurement and maintenance schedules.
• Investigate technical defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure vessels comply with applicable technical, safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain technical records and provide reports to management.

Requirements

• Marine engineering degree or relevant maritime qualification.
• Experience in vessel technical management or marine engineering.
• Knowledge of planned maintenance, dry docking and statutory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
