E-Invoicing Consultant

United Al Saqer Group is seeking an E-Invoicing Consultant to support and improve digital invoicing processes across Finance, Tax, IT and ERP functions. The role serves as a functional bridge between business users, technology teams and external service providers, helping ensure invoices are created, transmitted, validated and reported accurately. The consultant will troubleshoot transaction and integration issues, support Oracle Fusion Financials and e-invoicing configurations, and contribute to implementation, rollout and upgrade projects. The position also involves maintaining customer and supplier master data, supporting chart-of-accounts requirements, preparing functional documentation and coordinating user acceptance testing. Candidates should understand UAE VAT and e-invoicing requirements and be comfortable using SQL and reporting tools to investigate data and transaction issues. The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking and the ability to translate finance and tax requirements into practical system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day e-invoicing and related finance processes for business users.
• Monitor invoice creation, transmission, validation, approval and reporting workflows.
• Investigate transaction, integration and data-quality issues and coordinate resolution with IT, ERP teams and service providers.
• Support ERP and e-invoicing configuration, enhancements, integrations and system upgrades.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios and scripts, and coordinate UAT and regression testing.
• Support UAE VAT and applicable e-invoicing compliance requirements and verify required tax information.
• Maintain relevant customer and supplier master data and support chart-of-accounts activities.
• Use SQL, ERP reports and data analysis tools to identify exceptions and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides and operating procedures and provide user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in ERP systems, finance applications, tax technology or e-invoicing support.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and the UAE E-Invoicing Framework is preferred.
• Exposure to accredited service providers, tax-authority integrations, middleware or integration platforms is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SQL and reporting tools for troubleshooting and analysis.
