Description
Provide senior process engineering support for operating assets and project activities, helping maintain safe, reliable and efficient process performance. The role typically combines technical studies, troubleshooting, operating guidance and improvement recommendations with close coordination among operations, maintenance and project teams.
The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review process data and operating trends to identify performance gaps, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare or review process calculations, technical studies, operating procedures and engineering deliverables.
- Investigate process deviations and recommend safe, practical solutions that consider reliability and production needs.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, laboratory and project groups on plant changes and technical queries.
- Support hazard reviews, management of change and compliance with process-safety and engineering standards.
Requirements and Experience
- Relevant experience in process engineering within oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals or a similar process environment is important.
- Applicants should understand process design, plant operating limits, process safety and technical documentation.
- The role requires sound analysis, teamwork and the ability to turn data into practical engineering recommendations.
