RADIOLOGIST (MESAIEED) – ARABIC SPEAKER

Provide diagnostic radiology consultation and reporting services for patients, using appropriate imaging methods to support clinical assessment. The role requires sound diagnostic judgement, safe use of imaging equipment, strict confidentiality and compliance with radiation-protection requirements.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging and provide clear, timely reports to support patient care.
• Perform or oversee ultrasound, conventional and digital X-ray procedures within professional scope.
• Use radiology information systems and coordinate image handling through CR and PACS workflows.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, accurate records and a high standard of service.
• Follow radiation-safety procedures and keep professional licensing and clinical practice requirements current.

Requirements and Experience

• At least eight years of experience in diagnostic radiology in a healthcare setting is required.
• A current diagnostic radiologist licence recognized by the Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions is essential.
• Experience with RIS, CR, PACS and data management is preferred; a Basic Life Support certificate is an advantage.

Qualifications

Medical degree plus postgraduate degree in Diagnostic Radiology; valid Qatar DHP diagnostic radiologist licence
