Description
Provide environmental engineering expertise to help industrial operations and projects manage environmental impacts and meet applicable legal and company requirements. The role supports environmental planning, monitoring, reporting and corrective actions while working with project and operational teams to improve environmental performance.
The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review environmental aspects of project and operational plans and identify potential impacts or compliance gaps.
- Support environmental assessments, monitoring programmes, emissions and waste-management activities where applicable.
- Prepare or review environmental procedures, technical reports, records and compliance submissions.
- Coordinate with project, operations and HSE teams on mitigation measures and environmental incidents.
- Track performance indicators, audits and corrective actions and recommend practical improvements.
Requirements and Experience
- Relevant environmental engineering experience in oil and gas, industrial facilities or infrastructure projects is important.
- Applicants should understand environmental compliance, impact management and monitoring practices applicable to industrial operations.
- Analytical skills, report writing and coordination across technical teams are required.
