Senior Officer – Procurement (Engineering & Facilities)

flydubai is hiring a Senior Officer - Procurement (Engineering & Facilities) to manage end-to-end procurement activities for engineering and facilities requirements. The position covers sourcing, tendering, commercial evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, contract administration, supplier performance and procurement reporting. The role is responsible for securing suitable suppliers and commercial terms while maintaining compliance with internal policies, budgets and procurement controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Review procurement requirements with relevant departments and prepare RFPs, RFQs, invitations to bid and tender documentation.
• Manage the complete procurement cycle from sourcing and supplier evaluation through negotiation and award.
• Evaluate vendors against pricing, quality, delivery reliability, responsiveness and service requirements.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, bid documents and purchase orders in line with internal controls and timelines.
• Conduct financial and commercial evaluations of supplier proposals and prepare assessments for approval.
• Coordinate technical evaluations of shortlisted proposals with engineering, facilities and other subject-matter teams.
• Support contract lifecycle activities including amendments, renewals and extensions.
• Review vendor prequalification documents and ensure compliance with due-diligence and vendor-management requirements.
• Support development and maintenance of the approved supplier list and strengthen supplier relationships.
• Support procurement-system training and promote consistent use of approved processes.
• Prepare dashboards and reports covering procurement KPIs, savings, supplier performance and departmental insights.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing, transactions and audit documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and resolve system or workflow issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, tendering, negotiation, vendor evaluation and contract management.
• Experience supporting engineering or facilities procurement is relevant to this position.
• Fluent English.
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, communication, accountability and problem-solving skills.
