Engineering Manager (UAEN)

Emirates Flight Catering is hiring a Engineering Manager (UAEN) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role supports the organisation's high-volume aviation catering, hospitality, technology, engineering, finance, HR or operational environment, depending on the function. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver dependable results, follow established standards and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The position combines day-to-day execution with attention to quality, safety, service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable and efficient engineering or fleet operations in line with company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Respond to breakdowns, defects and technical issues and coordinate corrective actions to restore service quickly.
• Support preventive maintenance, inspections and equipment checks to reduce downtime and improve asset availability.
• Allocate or support work activities, prioritise urgent requirements and coordinate with technicians, contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and documentation for operational and compliance purposes.
• Identify recurring problems and support improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Education: Engineering degree in relevant discipline; UAE National eligibility required
• Experience: Engineering management experience; UAE National eligibility required
• Core skills: Engineering leadership, maintenance strategy, asset management, safety, projects, budgets, compliance
• Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are expected, together with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Candidates should be comfortable following company policies, quality procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
