Associate Project Manager – Emirati Talents

ABB is looking for an Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of small, lower-complexity projects in Dubai. This opportunity is designed for Emirati talent who want to build a career in project management within a technical and industrial environment. The role combines project coordination, scheduling, documentation and day-to-day support for project managers while ensuring work is completed according to established procedures and targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of assigned projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate routine project activities and help ensure deliverables remain aligned with agreed scope, quality and schedule requirements.
• Prepare, maintain and organize project documentation, reports, schedules and records.
• Apply basic project scheduling techniques and monitor progress against planned milestones.
• Identify schedule risks, delays and dependencies and raise issues promptly with the project manager.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to keep project activities moving.
• Assist with project meetings, follow-ups, action tracking and status updates.
• Ensure project work follows applicable procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and business targets.
• Support project managers with administrative and operational activities required for successful delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management or a related discipline.
• Suitable for graduates or candidates with early-career project coordination experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Good English communication skills.
• UAE National candidates eligible under Emiratisation requirements.
