Digital / AI Specialist Emirati talents

ABB is looking for a Digital / AI Specialist to join its IMEA Digital organization in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is aimed at Emirati talent and is well suited to recent graduates or professionals with up to three years of experience who want to build a career at the intersection of industrial automation, artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital transformation. The role combines technical learning with customer demonstrations, solution development and business support.

Key Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of digital applications covering asset performance management, AI, machine learning, advanced process control, energy optimization and industrial data platforms.
• Monitor emerging digital technologies and understand how they can address industrial customer challenges.
• Create demonstration environments, customer showcases, use cases and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Develop industry-specific digital content, value calculators and supporting materials.
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops and presentations across the IMEA region.
• Support proposal development and help sales teams position digital solutions effectively.
• Work with product specialists and global digital teams on pilots and application deployments.
• Develop knowledge of industrial processes in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power, Water, Mining and Metals.
• Translate technical concepts into clear customer benefits and practical digital applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering or a related discipline.
• Zero to three years of experience in automation, control systems, digital solutions or data analytics.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, analytics, SCADA, DCS, PLCs or industrial software is advantageous.
• Strong presentation, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in AI, digital technologies and industrial transformation.
• UAE National candidates eligible under Emiratisation requirements.
