Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Senior Draftman Joinery position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and production drawings for joinery works.
• Develop plans, sections, elevations, details and fabrication information.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural and MEP requirements.
• Review site dimensions and incorporate approved changes into drawings.
• Prepare cutting, material and installation details for factory and site teams.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, estimators and project managers.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and document accuracy.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications, approved samples and standards.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, interior design or related discipline.
• Strong experience in joinery and interior-fitout drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; 3D/BIM tools are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication and installation details.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
