Reinforcement Detailer

Prepare reinforcement detailing information for concrete structures so steel fixing can be carried out accurately and efficiently. The role converts structural design information into clear reinforcement drawings and schedules, coordinates comments and supports construction teams with reliable, up-to-date details.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings and bar-bending schedules from approved structural information.
• Detail bar sizes, shapes, spacing, laps, anchorage and reinforcement arrangements as required.
• Check drawings for consistency with structural plans, sections, dimensions and specifications.
• Coordinate detailing queries and revisions with structural engineers and project teams.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure issued revisions are clearly identified.
• Support site teams by resolving detailing clarifications and keeping documentation current.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant technical background in reinforcement detailing, structural drafting or civil construction.
• Experience interpreting structural drawings and reinforcement specifications.
