Construction Manager – Infrastructure Projects

Manage construction delivery for infrastructure projects, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants, resources and schedules. The position is responsible for maintaining safe working practices and ensuring that roads, utilities and associated civil works meet approved designs, quality requirements and project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage construction activities from mobilisation through completion and handover.
• Coordinate roadworks, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, stormwater and wet and dry utility packages.
• Manage subcontractor performance, manpower, equipment, materials and work sequencing.
• Monitor programme, cost, productivity, quality and site safety performance.
• Resolve construction constraints with project engineers, consultants, suppliers and authorities.
• Review progress reports, inspection records, method statements and risk items.
• Escalate delays and implement recovery actions to protect critical milestones.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Substantial infrastructure construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, utilities, construction sequencing and site delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors, project resources, quality and HSE requirements.
• Ability to read technical drawings and communicate with senior project stakeholders.
